ALONSO TO RED BULL (IMO)

With a massive shakeup in the drivers market for the 2025 season, Lewis moving to Ferrari leaves an open spot at Mercedes; where will Sainz end up? Audi's takeover of Sauber and over half the grid are out of contract; who deserves the second Red Bull seat? Has Daniel proven that he is more worthy? Is Yuki outperforming Daniel, or does Sergio stay in the same seat? I have an odd take on the second Red Bull seat, Fernando Alonso. While Sergio has done a great job at Red Bull, He maximized the opportunity, won races, contributed to back-to-back constructors' titles, and solidified his career as a great driver. Alonso has been consistently in the top 3 fastest drivers in a slower car.

Sergio is a great driver but heads up to Alonso; Alonso slightly edges him out. Alonso is a two-time champion, with 30+ plus race wins in his career, and undoubtedly proved his worth. Alonzo should get a two-year stint with Red Bull because everyone wants to see him in a race-winning car. Who wouldn't want to see him get a few more wins? That would be amazing for him, his career, fan base, and the sport. He would race very competitively for the constructors, and I believe he would outperform Sergio Perez in that same car. No disrespect to Sergio at all, but Fernando is one of the all-time greats.

Nothing in F1 stays the same for too long, and everybody is itching for a shakeup at Red Bull.

Alonso could have the 2025 season in the Red Bull, which you know will be a strong car. Race pace-wise, there's nothing even close to it. Max would still win most of the races, but the gap in race pace between Verstappen and Alonso would be tighter than Verstappen and Perez. Alonso would keep these races closer, which would be very interesting and spicy for the sport. I don't know. I want to see that happen, so that is who I would put in the second seat for Red Bull 2025.
